Former Supreme Court judge, Justice Francis Kpegah, today failed to show up at an Accra Fast Track High Court hearing his writ against NPP 2012 presidential candidate.
The former Supreme Court judge claims Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is holding himself out as a lawyer, when evidence available to him proves otherwise. He therefore accused Nana Akufo-Addo of impersonating one W.A.D Akufo-Addo.
However a recent document from the General Legal Council confirms Nana Akufo-Addo’s enrolment details on the roll of lawyers.
Anny Osabutey who was in court reported that lawyers for Justice Kpegah said he was unable to turn up due to ill health.
Meanwhile, lawyers for Nana Addo are asking the court to throw out the case.
The case has been adjourned to May 2.
