Sekondi-based St John's School, Ignatius of Loyola SHS from Wa and Nkroful Agric SHS in Ellembelle have all joined Lawra SHS to secure a space in 2019 edition of the National Science and Maths Quiz.
St John's School after a participation drought recorded an emphatic win in the second qualification contest on Monday.

They easily shrugged off Sekondi College with a 17-point gap to make the latter’s 29 points worth nothing more than one for the records.
Sefwi Wiawso SHS from the capital of the newly created Western North region trailed in that contest with 17 points, placing fourth.
Nkroful Agric SHS were the first victors of the day for the Western region; scoring 22 points; the very tally they scored in the 2018 prelims to kiss the tournament goodbye after Lolobi-based St Mary’s Seminary scored 4 points higher.

Theirs is a huge improvement from the 20 points they scored in the 2018 prelims in the very contest Nkroful was involved in.
Daffiama SHS, T.I Ahmadiyya, Northern Star Ullo were just no match for the experience they picked up in 2018.
