The 16 year old mother of the conjoined twins born in the Central Region has finally mastered courage to see her children for the first time.
She gave birth through a caesarean session at the Cape Coast Metropolitan hospital exactly a week ago.
The teenage mother had early on refused to see the children because she was scared by the description of her twins.
But after going through counseling at the hospital, she said she decided to see them. One of the children was sleeping whiles the other was yawning.
The teenage mother said she was happy to see the children but fears public ridicule.
She is turning to government and other philanthropists for help.
The 19-year old father has not been seen.The mother dropped out of school in class five and has dreams to further her education.
