Pressure is mounting on government to make public a report from the committee that investigated fraudulent activities at the Ghana Youth Employment and Entrepreneurial Development Agency, GYEEDA.Apart from recommendations for government to cancel contractual agreements with the waste management firm, Zoomlion and other service providers for gross financial malfeasance, the committee also cited six officials for corruption. And some civil society groups want those indicted interdicted.Speaking on Joy Fm’s News Analysis programme Newsfile, Managing editor of the Crusading Guide Kweku Baako, said publishing the report will end speculation about its authenticity."We need an informed discussion so the report must be made public quickly... Publishing the report will not disable the president from doing a critical study of the contents of the report, he maintained.Meanwhile a former Chief of Staff, Nana Ato Dadzie who was also on the programme, said though the president has the responsibility of taking action on the report, the Minister of Youth and Sports should bring those who have been cited in the report for corruption to book.
