Government has introduced comprehensive sexuality education in Ghanaian public schools.
Officials say the subject content would however be age-appropriate, so the toddlers would be empowered with values that would protect them from sexual harassment.
Some activists want the subject removed totally from the curriculum. Indeed some parents JoyNews spoke with are totally against the policy saying it is too early at age five to expose the children to such a subject.
But speaking on Joy FM's Super Morning Show, Advocacy Officer of PPAG, Akageyeri Atabinore Joshua, said the subject is essential for the growth of young people.
