A funeral service is scheduled to be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 in London for the late Joy FM and BBC presenter, Komla Dumor.
The former Joy FM/BBC presenter died at his London home on Saturday January 18, 2014 of what has been reported to be a cardiac arrest.
He was survived by a wife - Kwansema- and three children.
The funeral service is scheduled to be held at St Martin-in-the-Fields near Trafalgar Square at 11:00am.
The service is expected to be attended by close friends of the celebrated broadcaster and his colleagues at the BBC.
Another – which is likely to be a state funeral – is expected to be held in Ghana after Saturday’s ceremony in London.
Last Friday, Multimedia Group Limited, where Komla started off as a broadcaster and hosted the Super Morning Show on Joy FM for nearly a decade, held a rememberance service in his memory.
The Service was heavily attended by friends as well as former and current employees of the MGL.
