Leadership activist and communicator, Kabu Nartey has become the youngest alumni of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) to be celebrated at the 30 under the age of 60 awards over the weekend.
The 4th GIJ Eminence Awards 2019 which was held at the Mikaddo Conference Hall in Accra saw the Kufuor Scholars Fellow receiving the award barely four months after completing his bachelor’s degree at Ghana’s leading and most credible communications school, GIJ.
Kabu Nartey said he was humbled to have shared stage with his seniors and mentors like Roland Walker of Joy New, Umaru Sanda of Citi, Ridwan of GhOne, Grace Asari of TV3, Desmond Lamptey of Class FM and PR Practitioner Benjamin Alpha, among other professionals who were also awarded on the night.
Nartey is the author of a weekly column "The patriotic Epistles with Kabu Nartey" which runs on myjoyonline.com and other major online portals.
The GIJ 30 UNDER 60 AWARDS is a special category to highlight the 60 years anniversary of GIJ.
Publisher of the popular lifestyle magazine, Ovation, Chief Dele Momodu took his Instagram page to congratulate Nartey for the feat.
