The Institute of Human Resources Management Practitioners, Ghana (IHRMP) has commenced its HR Week celebration with a fitness walk.
The four-kilometre health walk was held on Saturday, November 2, 2019, starting from the newly built HR Centre at Tseaddo, East La towards the Military Cemetary roundabout and back to the HR centre, where Aerobics and refreshment were held.
Speaking to the media at the sidelines of the walk, the President of IHRMP, Dr Edward Kwapong explained that the fitness walk forms part of activities lined up for the HR week celebration and also to keep members fit since HR officials are noted to be confined to their sit all the time in offices. He added that very soon the HR bill, which is about to go through a second reading in Parliament would be passed into an Act to enable all HR practitioners in the country to be under one body for regulations and control.
