Rabaj Company Limited has announced a recall of Cindy and Lele tomato pastes on the market and in individual hands.
A statement from the company on Friday said they “identified an anomaly in a particular batch and we think the prudent thing to do is to recall all the batches in circulation.”
“Management deeply regrets all the inconvenience this exercise may cause you our key partners and the general public at large,” they wrote.

Return all Cindy tomato paste Lele tomato paste to our depots
Rabaj Company Limited is by this notice issuing a directive to all its key distributors and retailers of Cindy and Lele tomato paste to return all stock in their possession to our depots nationwide. Individuals who have done purchases and are still in possession of these two brands can also return them to the retail outlets they bought them.
We have identified an anomaly in a particular batch and we think the prudent thing to do is to recall all the batches in circulation.
Recalling all batches of the brands will enable us to clear all that particular batch we are seeking to recall from the market.
We are urging all our key distributors and retailers of the two brands to stay calm as we take this very important assignment in the interest of the general public and the company as a whole
