Residents of Community 25 in Tema have expressed grave concern about recent multiple armed robbery attacks on them.
At least ten houses were broken into and robbed in the latest of the several robberies in the area.
Joy News' Fiifi Koomson visited the community and reports that a pregnant woman was almost raped during one of such robbery attacks.
Another woman, who prefers to stay anonymous also lost expensive jewelry and a huge amount of money in one of the raids in the residential area.
Fiifi reports that although Louisville Court at the Community 25 PS Global Estates has magnificent town houses and lush landscape, residents are not happy.
The residents blame the increasing spate of armed robbery attacks on the estate developers.
They say the developers are doing little to ensure their security.
Interestingly, two private security persons on guard at the residential area are armed with just catapults, reports Fiifi.
The resident want the police to act swiftly to protect life and property.
"Until such swift action by the security agencies is taken, people here will continue to live with a lot of shock, fear and trauma", Fiifi Koomson said.
