The Judgement Debt Commission, investigating the inordinate payments of monies to individuals and corporate bodies says it may sit four days instead of the three days when it resumes sitting on March 24, 2014.
The Commission hopes this will "hasten" its work following a long unfortunate break.
The Commission was forced to suspend sittings after fire destroyed its office near the old parliament house and destroyed several documents.
It has now been allocated a temporary office at the former officers of the Constitutional Review Commission, Number 16, 5th Link Cantonments opposite the American Embassy Roundabout in Accra.
The Commission is also urging members of the public who wish to testify or volunteer information to first report at the Commission’s office to give their statement for the Commission to schedule a date for them to give evidence.
It also stated that all those who intend to testify or volunteer information to the Commission but are unable to be present in person are requested to submit memoranda to the Commission.
“The Commission wishes to assure persons who may testify or assist the Commission in its work that their identities will be protected and their safety guaranteed,” it said.
The Commission sits from 10:00am to 4:00pm each day.
