Officials of Ghana’s Sports Ministry have told sportscrusaderonline.com that the ministry has directed the Ghana Football Association to meet senior players of the Black Stars over their proposed new winning bonuses.
Players of Ghana’s Black Stars are said to have made fresh winning bonus proposal which could see each player earn $18,000 after every win at the 2014 World Cup Tournament in Brazil.
The Sports Ministry has mandated the FA to sort out all issues concerning player bonuses before the World Cup Tournament kicks off in Brazil in June.
The Black Stars players will be represented by Captain Asamoah Gyan and other senior players which will include Sule Muntari, Michael Essien, Agyemang Badu, Kwadwo Asamoah and Dede Ayew.
“The FA will meet with some senior players of the team to sort out all issues concerning their bonus demands. It will all have to be done before we begin our camping program” a source at the Sports Ministry confirmed to sportscrusaderonline.com.
