Bede Ziedeng has taken over as upper west regional minister with a call on the people to unite for the development of the region.
He stated that the northern part of the country was lagging behind and appealed to the people to put a lid to them in order to move the region forward.
With the change of button, Mr. Bede Ziedeng now becomes the 17th regional minister of the upper west region, since the creation of the region 31 years ago.
Joy News' upper west regional correspondent, Rafiq Salam, reports that the out-going regional minister, Dr. Ephraim Avea Nsoh recounted some of the projects he started 12 months ago and wished that Bede Ziedeng, his successor, continues in the same manner.
He further expressed his trust in the new regional minister and called on the citizens to given him the utmost support towards the development of the upper west region.
Bede Ziedeng, on his part, commended his predecessor for his performance as regional minister and further called for unity among the people to enhance the development of the upper west region.
