Some of Ghana’s biggest acts in music and comedy will on Friday, May 2 bring the National Theatre alive, as the maiden edition of the 'Night of Dance 2 Laugh' holds.
Powered by events company 2M Consult, it would bring together the finest from the local music and comedy scene in an exciting event, which would sit over thousand patrons.
In-form acts Castro, and Pope Skinny, as well as the evergreen Dasebre Dwamena, and youngster Tutulapato, will form the core group of musicians for the event while local comedy poster boys Kwadwo Nkansah (Lil Win), Kwaku Manu, and Salinko will seek to give them a hot match.
Also joining them, is actress Rose Akua Attaa Mensah popularly knwon as Kyeiwaa.
Kwaku Solomon, 2M Consult, CEO, said in a statement that: “We are ready to stage the first edition of Night of Dance 2 Laugh. A lot of work has gone into this, and we are hopeful it would pass the test.”
“All the acts involved,” he says “ are ready, and can’t wait to mount the stage to entertain patrons,” he added.
Castro, one of the main acts for the event, is in such fine shape, with too many of his personal singles, and featured works currently enjoying heavy rotation while Lil Win is just about the hottest local comedy act at the moment.
Solomon explained that, the acts for the event were “carefully chosen from a whole lot, as we sought to have a line-up that cuts across both genres, and has a broader appeal.”
