Irene Asante, presenter of 'Movie Chat room' on Ghana Television (GTV) has died.
The death of the eloquent presenter is said to have occurred early Thursday at the 37 Military hospital.
Details are sketchy about the cause of death but sources linked it to a heart-related disease.
Movie chat room is aired on the national broadcaster on Friday's at 12:00 noon.
Irene once dated producer Edward Osei Hammer of the Last Two Music Group, with whom she had two children.
She played a minor role in Leila Djansi's movie, titled: 'A Northern Affair' in 2013.
