Some of Ghana’s biggest celebrities turned out in their numbers last Sunday to wash cars to support ‘Rap Doctor’ Okyeame Kwame’s fight against Hepatitis B.
The celebrities turned up at Okyeame Kwame’s ‘Celebrity Car Wash’ at the Cahaya Car Spa, East Legon to help raise funds to fight the dreadful Hepatitis B an infectious illness of the liver caused by the hepatitis B virus (HBV).
The campaign, under the theme: ‘Eradicating Hepatitis B’, brought together celebrities from different fields of endeavour including music, movies, sports, radio and television.
Some of the known faces at the event included, Okyeame Kwame, Naa Ashorkor, Raquel, Bola Ray, Kwame Sefa Kayi, Stephen Appiah, Richie, Mzvee, Van Vicker, Ama K Abebrese, Caroline Sampson, Kafui Dey, Sammy B, MzVee, Elikem, and Adjetey Annan.
Okyeame Kwame’s Hepatitis B campaign has over the years raised fund to provide free screening, education, and free vaccination for thousands of Ghanaians.
