Ghana international Quincy Owusu-Abeyie has revealed he would love to sign a permanent deal with Birmingham at the end of the season.
Abeyie has been a revelation at St Andrew's this season, terrorising defences with his pace while also contributing to some vital goals in the process.
"I would love it to happen, of course. I would love to sign," Owusu-Abeyie said in the Birmingham Mail.
"Birmingham have given me the opportunity to come on loan and prove myself, which is what I'm trying to do.
"There's a permanent deal at the end of it so every time I'm going out there I know I've got to do well and deliver, to show I'm worth it."
The 22-year-old signed for Birmingham in August on loan, initially until January 2009.
An option was included to purchase the player outright at that point.
