Football legend, Abedi Ayew Pele, has backed Black Stars coach, Milovan Rajevac, to qualify Ghana to a second successive world cup appearance in South Africa 2010.
Pele believes the Serbian trainer has the credentials and ability to steer the Black Stars campaign a bitter-sweat two-months stay in the country.
The 54-year-old has lost twice in three official matches after being installed as coach on 8 August, once in the joint Nations Cup/World Cup qualifier.
"I have heard a whole lot of criticism over the coach that he doesn't speak English. He has started taking some lessons," Pele told Ghanasoccernet.com
"But my feelings is that I have always had coaches who doesn't speak the language that we the players do speak and it goes on and goes on very well.
"I think the most important is what he's able to put into the players to be able to play and play very well on the ground.
"Let's just give him the chance and the time to show what he can do.
"And I believe that any coach coming from that Eastern block is a good one because they got the mentality, the strength, the aggressiveness to be able to give their players to bring out results.''
