The 2014 MUSIGA Grand Ball, organized by the Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGA) has presented cheques to key bodies of the musicians union.
The 2014 MUSIGA Grand Ball, a benefit dinner and concert for corporate Ghana and society’s most influential, came off on Friday, September 5 at the Banquet Hall, State House.
The event was aimed at primarily raising funds to support AMWEF and MUSIGA Academy of MUSIGA.
Mr. Sam Afari-Dartey, Board Chairman of Grand Ball on September 23, 2014 at the AMWEF Appreciation Ceremony held at Alisa Hotel in Accra, presented cheques for GHc60,000 and GHc40,000 respectively, to Ageing Musicians Welfare Fund (AMWEF) and MUSIGA Academy.
Apart from that, certificates were also presented to the Grand Ball partners, sponsors and organisations that reserved Platinum Tables at the event.
The presentations were made by Diana Hopeson, former president of MUSIGA; Agya Koo Nimo, Chairman of the occasion; and CEO of Ghana Forestry Commission, Mr. Sam Afari-Dartey, Chairman of the Grand Ball Board.
