Sacked Black Stars coach Kwasi Appiah has demanded that the GFA pay him some monies he believes is due him after his contract was terminated abruptly last September.

In a letter written by his lawyers, the coach lists five demands he wants fulfilled if he is not to proceed to court to enforce them.

The biggest of the five is the full payment of $106,000 which is the fees he gets for signing on as coach. The GFA has paid $60,000 so far. He wants the rest.

Apart from this, the coach wants to be paid half of his September salary because he worked half of the month, approximately 16 days before his contract was terminated.

Kwasi Appiah whose popularity took a nose dive after a disastrous World Cup campaign in Brazil this June also expects to be paid his $20,000 winning bonus against Togo in the 2015 AFCON qualifier.

The win was his last match. Kwasi Appiah stretches his demands to include his driver whom he alleges has not been paid his allowance.

The final demand is the payment of his rent allowance. Kwasi Appiah’s lawyers have been meeting GFA officials to discuss his severance package.
