Chairman of Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Alhaji Raji says football fans in Ghana should blame the president of Ghana Football Association (GFA); Kwesi Nyantakyi for the delay of the Ghana Premier League.
The 2014/2015 First Capital Plus Premier League is yet to be started due to a High Court order of injunction slapped on the Ghana FA.
This comes as a result of Alhaji Karim Grusah’s court injunction placed on the congress of the Ghana FA and this has stalled the commencement of the League over five weeks.
But in an exclusive interview on Asempa Sports World, Alhaji Ali Raji said the GFA president should be held responsible for the late start of the league.
“Everybody should blame Kwesi Nyantakyi for the delaying of the League”.
“Everybody should respect my opinion; what am saying is that if up till now we haven’t started the league then the president of the FA should be blame,"Raji added.
Meanwhile, report reaching Asempa Sports has indicated that, the clubs have proposed in a meeting held previously that they would want to take charge and organize the league in place of the league board and the FA.
They also proposed to play an 18 club league instead of the 16 for King Faisal to remain in the premiership in order to end the court case to pave the way for the league to kick-off.
But Executive committee member and owner of Tema Youth FC, Winfred Osei Parma says it is impossible for GHALCA to organize the league.
“I can tell you that are impossible because the FIFA law governing our football indicate that is only the FA which can organize league in this country.
“What we are saying that is there is something wrong with league so far as our legal system is concern then let us directly attack and resolve or reform the legal framework of the FA but you cannot say that what is happening now is been caused by the Premier League Board(BLP).
“You can only blame the FA if the logistical support is not forthcoming from the FA
