The judge hearing the controversial sodomy case involving the Takoradi based doctor Sulley Ali Gabass has ordered state prosecutors to prepare and produce the victim tomorrow for hearing.
The order follows failure by state prosecutors to bring the 16-year-old to court, Tuesday as agreed on the last adjourned date.
Prosecutors say the victim, whose name has been withheld, is not in the right frame of mind to appear before court.
But Judge Rita Agyemang Badu has asked the prosecutors, to without any explanation, prepare the victim for hearing to proceed expeditiously.
She is even ready to have deposition of the victim conducted at any venue favorable to him, Joy News' Kwakye Afreh Nuamah reported.
The victim is currently with the Social Welfare Department.
Dr Sulley Ali-Gabass is facing two counts of defilement and having an unnatural carnal knowledge contrary to sections of the Criminal Code.
He was deemed to have sodomised the 16-year-old he met on facebook.
Weeks of painstaking investigations by Joy News' Manasseh Azure-Awuni revealed how what began as a mentor-mentee relationship between the two turned into a sexual one with the victim alleging he was sodomised on five occasions by Dr Gabass.
When Awuni confronted Dr Gabass, he admitted to committing the offence.
In court however he pleaded not guilty to the charges. He has been remanded in police custody pending the determination of the case in court.
According to Kwakye Nuamah the suspect appeared in court in a white shirt and khaki trouser with a calm demeanour.
He was accompanied by some family members.
The case has been adjourned to Wednesday.
