The family of Dr. Sulley Ali-Gabass, who is standing trial for allegedly sodomising a 16 year old boy has cast doubt on the boy’s age.
They are challenging claims by the victim that he was defiled by the doctor.
Speaking to Joy News, brother of the accused, Ali Gebrilla said “the age of the boy is questionable so the judge wants to be sure that the age that was presented is what it really is”.
According to him, the allegations levelled against his brother are false and “frivolous”.
The 16-year old boy was cross examined in camera for the second day in a row at the Cocoa Affairs Court today.
Joy New’s Manasseh Azure-Awuni after weeks of investigation uncovered the horrifying deeds of the medical doctor whose conduct has left the 16-year old boy bedridden for several months.
The victim, whose name has been withheld, is reportedly HIV positive but Dr Ali-Gabass said he cannot be blamed for the HIV because he is negative and could not possibly be the source of the virus.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charge and is on remand whilst the case proceeds.
