Popular hiplife star Kwaw Kese who is on remand for allegedly smoking marijuana has been discharged from the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital after he was rushed in complaining of a stomach upset.
Luv FM's Erastus Asare Donkor reports the rapper, known better as 'Abodam' to wit the mad man, was rushed to the hospital Thursday afternoon after he complained of a stomach upset.
He was then sent to the 'Yellow ward' which indicates his condition is not severe.
Doctors seeing to the hiplife artiste have confirmed that he is not in critical condition.
Prison officials were present in the hospital to keep the rapper secured. He was discharged the same night.
Abodam was arrested last month for smoking 'weed' in public.
Attempts by his lawyers to bail the suspect have proved futile thus far. The Prosecution insists drug offences are non-bailable, a position the judge upholds.
The judge adjourned the case to December 22, 2014 by which time the prosecution may have finished with its investigation.
Given the avalanche of appeals to have the 'Oy3 nonsense' hit singer pardoned it is not clear how the report of his health condition will play out even though the Ashanti Regional Police Commander DCOP Kofi Boakye has promised to see through with the prosecution.
