A six-year-old girl has been killed in a devastating inferno that ravaged a home at Osu Salem in Accra, Friday.
The nine-month-old brother of the deceased six-year-old however escaped death, albeit with various degrees of injuries.
Fire authorities are yet to ascertain the actual cause of the fire, although they suspect it may have been sparked by an electrical fault.
Deputy Public Relations Officer of the Ghana National Fire Service, Billy Anaglatey, told Joy News the service has commenced investigations to ascertain the exact cause of the fire.

"Until we are able to examine all remains of the components that are in the room to flesh out few things, I would not be able to say exactly what caused the fire", he said.
He adds that the Fire Service moved in quickly to stop its spread. According to him, the situation would have been more devastating if not for the rapid report and subsequent response by firefighters.
Joy News' Chantelle Asante who visited the scene of the incident said property worth thousands of Ghana cedis were also lost in the fire.
Details of the parents' location during the accident are sketchy, however a family member told Chantelle a 7-year-old girl, who is the first of all four children managed to rescue the third born sibling who avoided injury.
The parents were with the injured baby at the Ghana Police Hospital when Joy News got to the scene of the accident.
