Rains last weekend have turned a street light into a road hazard on the Mile 7 interchange in Accra.
It calls into question, the durability of street lights mounted on the Achimota-Ofankor highway. The road was completed last year.
With the pole hanging precariously over the road below, it could take just one more storm or gust of wind to tip it over onto unsuspecting commuters.
The street light is no longer providing light for motorists poses a danger to motorists. It could turn worse if it falls over on a busy day on the road.
