The Effutu Municipal Chief Executive in the Central Regional, Nii Ephraim, is dead.
The MCE died Monday morning at the Otoo Memorial Hospital in Winneba after suffering a mild stroke he suffered two weeks ago.
Nii Ephraim's death was confirmed to myjoyonline.com by the District Chief Executive of Awutu Senya East, Adams Nuhu.
Nii Ephraim was retained as the MCE of Effutu in June 2013 after polling 18 out of the 26 votes cast, representing 72 percent in an election conducted by the Effutu Municipal Electoral officials.
He was first appointed MCE for the area in 2009.
