Campaign Manager of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) for the upcoming general elections is targeting a one million votes victory margin for his party in December.
He also told JoyNews that the party further seeks to increase its parliamentary seats to 185.
This follows his appointment to lead the NPP’s re-election bid after what many sympathisers describe as a yeoman’s job in the party's ousting of the erstwhile National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.
Speaking on PM Express June 17, Mr Manu explained that his team is poised to maximise all communication channels possible to drum home the party's ideas and vision for the electorates come December and beyond.
He also outlined other plans to be rolled out to ensure an emphatic victory adding that they are taking into consideration the changing dynamics in trends since the past elections.
“1.5 million...I am an ambitious man and Nana Akufo-Addo is an ambitious president. And 185 seats in parliament which is 66%, so that when we table our bills in parliament that requires to-thirds, we will be able to push it through for the good of the country," said Mr Mac Manu.
Touting achievements under the Akufo-Addo-led administration as unprecedented, the Board Chairman of the Ghana Ports and Harbours Authority believes the list of development manifesting in the lives of Ghanaians since NPP’s assumption of office is enough to secure them a win in the December polls.
The 2016 campaign Manager is billed to spearhead the party's efforts to retain a second term at the helm of the country’s affairs.
He will be flanked by Minister of Zongo and Inner City Development, Dr Mustapha Hamid and Director of Operations at the Presidency, Lord Oblitey Commey as his deputies in his campaign managerial role.
