Besiktas have signed Bernard Mensah from fellow Turkish top-flight side, Kayserispor.
The Ghana international has left Kayserispor after two seasons and joined Besiktas on loan with an option to buy.
Mensah arrived in Instabul earlier on Monday to put the finishing touches on the move. He passed mandatory medical before signing the contract.
Besiktas paid €500,000 for the loan deal but will pay €4.5 million to make the move permanent at the end of 2020-21 season.
The 25-year-old signed a contract extension with Kayserispor until 2022 before moving to Besiktas.
The former Atletico Madrid midfielder enjoyed an impressive 2019-20 season. He was involved in 13 goals, scoring five and assisting eight in 26 games.
Mensah has scored one goal in four appearances for Black Stars. He made his debut in 2015.
