A 28-year-old man has allegedly been murdered by his friend over pork argument at a drinking spot.

According to an eyewitness, George Adu Gyamfi, a 'Pragya' (tricycle) operator had reserved pork to complement a beer he had ordered.

The suspect who entered the bar not long after his order took a ladle and began stirring the pot of meat continuously.

Mr Gyamfi who had become uncomfortable with this tried talking to his friend to stop but this failed and escalated into an argument.

The suspect, who is believed to have acted under the influence of alcohol left for home and returned with a knife.

When he came back to the bar, Mr Gyamfi had left.

The tricycle operator was on his way home when he was ambushed and stabbed multiple times to death.

It is suspected that his friend who had the argument with him might have killed him so police have picked him up for question.

Other people are being interrogated while investigations continue.
