President Akufo-Addo says his administration has lived up to expectation and should be provided with another term to continue serving the country.
According to him, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) led by John Mahama is on a promising spree, throwing dust into the eyes of Ghanaians and naming unattainable initiatives to canvass votes ahead of the elections.
"I have fulfilled most of my pledges to you. That means I was honest with you. For these reasons, I know I have lived up to expectations, so give me four more years to serve you better and continue my work."
Speaking at Kokompe in Ablekuma North Constituency, Tuesday, he revealed that the NDC administration achieved nothing in office and quizzed what it could offer Ghanaians in years to come.
"He (Mahama) should stop lying to Ghanaians, and leave us to continue with our developmental agenda for the country. We have experienced his stewardship before, and it didn't meet the expectations of Ghanaians.
"The fact of the matter is he has been in power before, and what did he achieve? Nothing" he stated.

On his three-day tour of the Greater Accra Region, President Akufo-Addo interacted with traders during the commission of the first phase of Obetsebi Lamptey interchange.

President Akufo-Addo explained that although the Alleviation Programme Business Development Support set up to help businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic has not run smoothly, no one would be left behind.
He gave the assurance that "those who didn't benefit from the financial support would be assisted when retained in office."
