The Electoral Commission has set up a Call Centre to enable voters relay their concerns and feedback to the Commission on Election Day.
In a press statement released by the Commission, they stated that the objective of the initiative is ‘to provide prompt responses to Voters so as to improve voting experiences on Election Day.”
The Call Centre will be managed by trained staff of the Commission and will be operational from 6 am to 6 pm on Monday.
The Commission further stated that a Toll Free number 0800-100-100 has been secured for this purpose and as such callers will not be charged for calls made to the Toll Free Number.
“Callers may use any network to contact the Commission’s Officials on this number,” the Commission stated.
This initiative forms part of the Commission’s drive to ensure a credible, transparent, and peaceful Election 2020.
