NDC's Presidential candidate John Dramani Mahama on December 30, filed a petition at the Supreme Court to challenge the 2020 election results declared by the Electoral Commission.
According to Mr. Mahama, various errors identified during the collation of results indicate that the December 7 polls should have ended in a run-off and not the declaration of the NPP's flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo as president-elect.
He is, therefore, urging the court to declare the 2020 election results as null and void.
On today's segment of 'The Law', host Samson Lardy Anyenini delves into the legal issues of the election petition with panellists; Law lecturer at GIMPA, Justice Srem Sai, and Head at Law Plus, Dennis Adjei Dwomoh.
The show will also discuss claims of several errors present in the election petition filed by John Mahama.
