MP for Cape Coast North, Kwamina Mintah Nyarku, says he has secured a contract to construct roads in his constituency.
According to him, the roads in his constituency are in deplorable states and the contract secured would enable him to improve the road network and by extension improve the livelihoods of the people.
The MP has been visiting project sites in the constituency and thanking the constituents for voting for him to represent them.
He assured his constituents; he will never turn his back on them and will seek to create the enabling environment to bring smiles on their faces.
“Luckily for me, I have been able to secure some contracts regarding the roads in the constituency. We are going to connect the road from Academy to Nkanfoa through to Moree. We are also going to connect one from Akotokyir to Kwaprow through to Duakor. The Dahia road to Efutu through to Efutu Mampong would also be tackled,” he assured.
Mr. Mintah Nyarku explains he’s doing all these to ensure that, at least, the major road networks in Cape Coast North are motorable.
The Cape Coast North MP also revealed, he was also working to bring an Astroturf in Cape Coast and Cape Coast North would be the beneficiary of the project.
“That project would be seen soon here. It is coming to Abura,” he stated.
He commended the youth and the leaders of Abura, for having the vision to put up a palace.
The MD for Paradigm Security Services and a member of the Ebiradze Royal family of Abura, Kwesi Afful, who has solely sponsored the building of a Palace at Abura commended the MP for the leadership he’s providing for the people of Cape Coast North.
The Palace, he says would help resolve the number of litigations that are increasing by the day in the area.
“There are a lot of issues, conflicts, families fighting each other over land and many other vices and so I thought it wise to put up something that could bring unity, sanity and peace into the community. And forme, building a palace is the best thing to do. In the olden days, when there were palaces in the towns and communities, whenever conflicts arose, they were able to resolve them so that the police stations could be spared of some petty squabbles,” he explained.
Abura, Mr. Afful indicates, isa fast-growing community in Cape Coast and deserves all the attention and development.
“If we want to grow more in Cape Coast town itself, then you have to go into the sea but Abura has a lot of lands for development and we are growing day-in-day-out people are buying lands and are developing,” he stressed.
He assured the MP, there is land available for the building of the AstroTurf and a library to help the kids to study.
