Mr. Kwashie who passed on December 28, according to a Senior Consultant of DW Akademie, Beates Weide, was a “brilliant thinker and analyst of the political and societal situation of his country.”
“He was an excellent media professional with high quality and ethical standards, a responsible, open-minded, and visionary leader.”
“The way he cared about his team and always tried to strengthen the team’s professional skills showed his high ambitions for an impactful journalism and his outstanding personality. Every discussion with him was such a pleasure,” she added in a letter of condolence on behalf of the DW Akademie team.
