Deloitte Ghana has announced the appointment of Gideon Ayi-Owoo as a partner, with immediate effect.
Gideon is a Chartered Accountant with over 16 years’ experience in “Big 4”accounting firm, working with clients across all business spectrums by providing tax advisory services.
Over the years, he has had a stint in the United Kingdom and has led several tax engagements for privately held businesses and large publicly held corporations in Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Gambia.
He brings on board his sound knowledge of Ghana’s complex tax landscape to Deloitte Ghana’s tax team.
As a partner, Gideon will be responsible for accelerating the development of Deloitte’s tax services to its clients in the Energy, Resource & Industrials (ER&I) Industry with a particular focus on Tax Management Consulting, Transfer Pricing and Business Tax.

Gideon is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), a Member of Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana (CITG) and holds an LLB from the University of London.
He also earned a Bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Ghana Business School.
