Today, March 3, 2022, has been marked by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) to celebrate World Wildlife Day.
The day is meant to celebrate and draw attention to the conservation status of some of the most critically endangered species of wild fauna and flora, and to drive discussions towards imagining and implementing solutions to conserve them.
This year's celebration is under the theme: “Recovering key species for ecosystem restoration”.
Social media users have taken to Twitter to celebrate the day. They are sharing images of various species of animals and beautiful scenery be it the mountain, waterbodies.
World wold life day reminds us all that the onus of saving the wild life lies on us because we are the ones who destroyed it as well..
