Today's edition of State of Play on JoyFM took a critical look at the continuous contention ongoing in Parliament.
In earlier conversations, the subject was focused on the Majority and Minority Groups in Parliament. But today, the discussion encompassed the confrontation between Speakers.
This comes after Speaker Alban Bagbin described the recent happenings in the House as the First Deputy Speaker’s penchant to overturn his rulings. According to him, such actions are unconstitutional.
But First Deputy Speaker, Joseph Osei-Owusu, has refuted these claims. Pundits Evans Mensah, Winston Amoah and Raymond Acquah delved into the matter to ascertain the facts and draw conclusions.
