Songwriter and singer Nana Top Kay has released a new song titled ‘Nana Mafia’.
The song depicts the current sentiments of most Ghanaians based on the state of affairs of the country.
In the three-minute single, Top Kay accused President Akufo-Addo of failing to uphold his promises.
He also asked former President John Mahama to return to office and undo the hardships his successor has supposedly imposed.
He also pointed out that Ghanaians never expected President Akufo-Addo to disappoint Ghanaians in this manner despite all his claims that Ghana has a lot of money that is being wasted.
Ghana’s economical numbers have not been it best in recent times.
A cedi is depreciating to the dominant currencies at a fast pace. Similarly, there has been a hike in fuel prices with a litre of diesel selling at ₵10.
Many economists have expressed worry that the country’s economy is on the verge of collapse if proper interventions are not implemented as soon as possible.
However, President Akufo-Addo has expressed commitment numerous times that strategies are being implemented to resuscitate the economy.
