Multiple award-winning artiste, Dennis Nana Dwamena, popularly known as KiDi, has disclosed that his song “For Better For Worse” was inspired by the 2018 American romantic comedy film titled Crazy Rich Asians.
Speaking on the Drive Time on Joy FM with Lexis Bill, the 'Touch It' hitmaker said the song came to him after watching the movie.
His affirmation follows a comment made on the show by a fan who expressed love for the song.
“It’s crazy that the person said she will walk down the aisle because I was inspired after watching a movie that was about a wedding.
The movie is called Crazy Rich Asians. I watched the wedding scene and I said to myself I need a song that goes with this mood. How she was walking down the aisle so I went straight into the studio and made this record.”
KiDi added that he is pleased that the song has achieved its intended goal.
“So I’m glad that people listen to it and they feel that way to walk down the aisle.”
'For Better For Worse' which currently has 100,000 views on youtube is the 11th song on KiDi’s second studio album dubbed Sugar.
