Coalition of Unemployed Registered Nurse Assistant-Clinical and Preventive have threatened to picket at Jubilee House, Ministries of Finance and Health for the failure to ensure that members are posted to health facilities.
They have given government a week ultimatum to deal with factors accounting for the delay in posting them.
“We will put ourselves in groups and march to the Ministry of Finance and also Ministry of Education to work with them. Some will be at the Jubilee House too. At the end of the day they will give us part of their salaries because we worked with them”, President of the group, Charles Apandago said at a press conference.

The 2019 year group has stayed out of employment for three years leading to some taking up menial jobs for survival.
Members of the group at the press conference wore red arm and headbands to register their displeasure at the government.
They say ten months after going through the required process for postings, colleagues with degrees and diplomas were posted successfully leaving their members hanging.

“We ask the government what wrong have we committed that has led for us to be discriminately neglected after paying huge sums of money and going through the required training at college and we are still left at home after accessing the recruitment portal since November 2021. Meanwhile, government has made necessary arrangements with the Youth Employment Agency (YEA) to recruit, train and employ SHS graduates to carry out our duties?”
They describe the present order as discriminatory and threatening to national security.
Meanwhile, the group says the delay is causing members to lose skills and knowledge acquired in the field.
