The Chief Executive Officer of Royal Vina Ghana Rice & More, Ms. Davina Sheilla Mensah has called on Ghanaians to do their best to consume products that are made in Ghana ahead of Christmas as a means to curb the high costs of goods and services in the country in this challenging times.
Her submission came at the back of high inflation ( double and triple) prices of products in the country due to the rise of the dollar rate causing majority of Ghanaians calling for some actions to the taken against some leaders and the Economic Management Team from their current Position.
Speaking to the media in an exclusive interview with Pulse Ghana, Davina Sheilla Mensah said, one major recipe to control the high inflation rate is to consume products that are produced here in Ghana.
According to her, the government should introduce policies that will stop the charging of prices of goods and services in foreign currencies.
"The rate at which prices of Commodities are increasing day in and out is extremely and is really affecting businesses. I urge everyone to try consuming products made here in the country to avoid imports which more export of the Ghanaian products be made to foreign countries to help balance our trade resulting in a strong Economy.

Davina Sheilla Mensah added that, the time has come for Ghanaians to resort to the use of Coconut oil and other locally produced oil for cooking to also help control prices of imported goods.
Further, She added that, traders should also help the people and the country and not take advantage of the situation to double and triple prices which could cause continuous, chaos and hunger for the average Ghanaian.
To her, we can only solve this canker by avoiding the high dependency on foreign foods and services.
Davina Sheila Mensah earlier this year won the Entrepreneur of the Year at the fourth edition of the Youth Excellence Awards (YEA) and the Most Promising CEO of the Year at the Global Business and Entrepreneurship Summit and Awards.
