Glico holdings has received ISO certification for its operations in Ghana. On Thursday, 5th January, 2022, the company held a meeting to outdoor the certification to the staff of the company.
The company was certified with, the ISO - 9001- Quality Management System; ISO 1400- Environmental Management System and ISO 45001 - Occupation, Health and Safety Management System.
According to the Group CEO of Glico, Edward Forkuo Kyei, the ISO certification hinges on efficiency and customer satisfaction.
"The ISO certification hinges on two things for me. One being efficiency and two, customer satisfaction. We live in a global world where businesses thrives on efficiency. Making sure that you have the needed systems and operations in place will make you efficient. It will also make you competitive in the business world".
As part of the Company's plan for the year, Mr. Kyei said Glico will work hard to be a world class organisation.
"We are working hard to become a world class organisation and for us, that means a lot. If we can achieve that dream of becoming a world class company that will exist beyond our generation, then it means we have a lot of work to do".
