The police may allow Evangelist Patricia Asiedu, previously known as Nana Agradaa to skip the law if orders given to them by an Accra Circuit Court hearing on one of her numerous cases are not adhered to.
According to the Court, the police should make the necessary amendments to the charges and facts presented against the accused person.
They said they would strike out one of the cases if the police do not follow the order given.
The Court gave the warning at Circuit Court 10 after Evangelist Patricia Asiedu, founder of Heaven Way Champion Ministry, appeared before it.
The Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP), Emmanuel Haligah who held a brief, informed the Court that his side would amend the charges at next court sittings.
The case was, therefore, adjourned to February 28.
Evangelist Asiedu is being held on charges of charlatanic advertisement and six counts of defrauding by false pretences.
She has denied the charges and is currently on bail.
She is also accused of collecting huge sums of money, including GHS4,000 from five complainants in October 2022.
This was after she had allegedly advertised that she could double their money during an all-night church service but failed to do so.
