Award-winning singer and songwriter, Eugene Kwame Marfo, better known as Kuami Eugene, says he may never collaborate with young Ghanaian artiste, Fotocopy.
This is in response to some hate comments Fotocopy recently made about him.
In a recent media TV interview, the 'Tomorrow' singer stated that Kuami Eugene is one of his most hated artistes in the music industry.
According to him, Kuami Eugene refused to do a feature with him because his numbers were low.
But the Lynx Entertainment signee refuted this claim.
Speaking on Prime Morning on Thursday, the Rockstar claimed he never denied the request but asked for the right procedure to be followed by having a meeting with his management about it.
Asked whether a future collaboration with Fotocopy will ever happen, Kuami Eugene responded, "No, I don’t think so. I don’t think so."
"I won’t come and lie to you. I mean, after all this noise and hate that is going on, he’s just a little boy. He’ll understand when he grows up."
The ‘Angela’ hitmaker suspects the collaboration question to Fotocopy, as well as the answers, were staged to draw attention to the young artiste.
According to Kuami Eugene, gaining fame in the industry is good, but the method used by Fotocopy exceeded his age as a young boy.
"Just that I mean is the industry. People think once there's bad news, you'll get attention, and he’s getting it in a bad way, and he’s too young for what he’s facing," the ‘I Feel Nice' hitmaker added.
He further described the comments the nine-year-old singer Fotocopy has made about him as unfortunate.
According to him, Fotocopy is too young a boy to understand and throw around words like hatred, especially when talking about other artistes.
In spite of Fotocopy's statement, the VGMA award-winner still expressed love towards the ‘Tomorrow’ hit maker, saying the boy is not to blame. "I love him and wish him well," Kuami Eugene said.
