Ghana's sprint brothers, Leo and John Myles-Mills have lost their mother, Catechist Nora Myles-Mills.
She was 88 and died after a short illness.
John, the older brother, was a 100m and 200m specialist who competed for Ghana in the 1988 and 1992 Olympic Games.
In 1987 and 1991, he represented the country in the World Athletics Championships.
He picked up silver at the 1987 All-Africa Games and gold in Kenya, during the African Championships.
Leo, who was Ghana's 100m record holder between 1999 and 2021 with a personal best of 9.98s, was the first Ghanaian to break the 10-second barrier.
He won gold at the 1999 All-Africa Games, silver in 2003 and bronze at the 1998 African Championships.
Catechist (Rtd) Nora Myles-Mills' burial service will be held on 1st July at the PCG Trinity Congregation.
