Ghanaian youngster Christopher Bonsu Baah made his official debut for KRC Genk on Wednesday, August 2, in their UEFA Champions League qualifier against Servette Football Club.
Bonsu Baah came on in extra time, replacing countryman Joseph Paintsil for the last 15 minutes of the encounter.
The 18-year-old was making a return from injury after missing the first leg of the tie and the opening game of the 2023/24 Belgian Jupiler Pro League.
However, it was the best of debuts for the Ghanaian as Genk suffered defeat after the match headed to a penalty shootout, with Servette scoring of theirs while Genk only scored one.
The defeat means Genk will play no part in this season's Champions League and after failing to go past the qualification round.
