The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Kumawu Constituency in the Ashanti Region has asked the old students of the Tweneboa Kodua Senior High School to support their alma mater. 

Ernest Yaw Anim says the school needs infrastructural support as it has outgrown its current capacity.

Addressing old students of the school at the inauguration of the Tweneboa Kodua Senior High School Old Students Association in North America, Mr Anim said it has become important for them to uplift the image of the school. 

According to him, the school has challenges with its lighting system and the renovation of its existing structures.

“Now, it’s crucial that we acknowledge some of the challenges the school is facing. With a growing student body, there are mounting concerns about inadequate infrastructure—be it staff bungalows, classroom furniture, or even beds for the students.”

“The school also grapples with a poor lighting system and the lack of renovation in existing structures. Additionally, the sports facilities are not up to par, and the school wall remains uncompleted. Addressing these issues is crucial for the continued success and development of Tweneboa Kodua SHS.”

He thus appealed to them to urgently come to the aid of their alma mater. 

“So what can we do to help? Your financial contributions could directly fund the construction of additional classrooms and staff bungalows, improve the lighting system, and even provide for 1,200 new Mono Desks and 800 bunk beds for students.”

“The school needs to renovate existing structures and complete the school wall. Also, the school is seeking donations of 1,500 chairs for the Assembly Hall and additional sports equipment. Your financial gifts tonight are not just charitable donations; they are investments into a brighter, more secure future for the students of Tweneboa Kodua SHS.”
