The Whole Child Foundation has organised a career guidance seminar for Peki senior high school students.
The Foundation, an NGO is established to promote an all-inclusive¸ academically enriching and supportive environment that allows children and youth to thrive and succeed in Sub-Saharan African countries.
The seminar, which took place on October 07, 2023, brought together professionals from various fields including medical doctors, engineers, accountants, nurses, administrators, police and fire service personnel among others.

The professionals mentored and empowered students to identify and nurture their individual strengths and passions towards the actualisation of a desired future career.
The Programs Director, Eric Kobina Baidoo bemoaned the looming rate of unemployment in the country.
He, therefore, advised the participants to be guided by the current industrial needs of the job market in making an informed career choice.

The Headmistress of Peki SHS, Peace Goka acknowledged and applauded the initiative of Whole Child Foundation.
She reiterated the need for students to be focused and have such professionals as mentors.
Mrs Goka further advised parents not to impose certain careers on their children especially when they do not seem to dispose its relevant skills and abilities.
