Musician Kurl Songx says he has resolved to make music the only way he wants and knows how to, despite the constant change in music trends.
Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Kurl Songx said that although experimenting with trends when making music might be great for his career, he does not want to risk fading away when a trend’s timeline ends.
“I believe trends come and go. So if I follow the trend, it means that when the trend comes, I'm in. But the moment the trend goes, what else? You understand? So I do music.
"As long as it's good music, I'm okay. Yeah. Yeah. As long as it's good music,” he told the host, Andy Dosty on Thursday.
The ‘Jennifer Lomotey’ hitmaker stated he chooses to be different creating distinct music for his fans and listeners instead of toeing the popularity line.
“I know it will take time, but because I'm doing good music and not following trends, I know one day, yeah, they'll get to understand. Sometimes you want to be in people's faces, but I believe in following a good course.”
Additionally, Kurl Songx announced he released a new song inspired by his experience with heartbreak called ‘911’.
